Effective March 1/2012 we are joining Delbrook Steve Nash Youth Basketball. Over the past few years we have successfully shared a game schedule with Delbrook and have decided, in order to make the league more seamless, we would go to a single registration system. The access of the Delbrook gym will also provide a huge benefit for all age groups. The older grades will be able to have their practices in a full-size gym. The younger groups will be able to take advantage of adjustable hoops providing them with a more satisfying experience.
A larger league will provide for more varied competition at all age levels, and we will be able to support our basketball players better with a larger volunteer base to draw from.

If your child was registered (online only) and you paid full price with the WVYBA last year (2011-2012), you can register with Delbrook for the 2012-2013 program, and be eligible for a $50 rebate cheque. To qualify for this rebate you must have registered via the WVYBA registration web site and you did not withdraw during the year. You must also register on the Delbrook website for the 2012-2013 season before July 31, 2012. Cheques will be issued and mailed in October 2012. There is no need for you to request the rebate as it will be automatically issued to all that qualify. The Executive committee of WVYBA reserves the right to determine eligibility.
